We’re heading to the AWP Conference in DC shortly, but I wanted to take a few minutes to say hello. So…”Hello!” This site was designed and built in about two days to correspond with the release of our first title, Doug Cox’s The Last Decent Jukebox in America. That release was itself hurried along in order to hit the AWPs with books in hand. Unfortunately, it’s hard to hurry books into existence. Though we’ve been working on it for months now—years, sort of—the final push through the printer and into a final product is going to miss the conference by a day or two. So it goes.

We will have limited edition broadsides of sample poems from the book. They look pretty nice. Frame-worthy, even. We’ll have those up here in the shop as soon as we return from DC. And maybe we can convince Doug to sign a few over the weekend and get those up as well. Ditto the downloads (I ran out of time there, too!). And in about two months, we’ll have the special edition hardback version of Jukebox for you as well. I won’t say too much about that now, except that everyone involved in this is really excited about that version. It’s gonna be beautiful. Something to show off to your friends, put on display during dinner parties, include in the will. (Hyperbole never hurt anyone, y’all.)

It’s time to drive. If you’re in DC this weekend, give us a shout in the comments and we’ll fork over some free broadsides, high five you and yours, and maybe buy you a drink.
